Banana Peanut Butter “Ice Cream”

One of the things that I LOVE about clean eating is that you can still eat sweet things…without eating refined sugar! My oldest son has been really into getting dessert after dinner lately, so I decided to try a recipe I saw on pinerest. The recipe was for clean eating banana “ice cream.” The only problem was that it called for using frozen bananas and mine were room temperature. So, I decided to make my own recipe. This basically involved adding yogurt and peanut butter to make it creamy.

Banana Peanut Butter “Ice Cream”
2 Bananas
2 T Natural Peanut Butter
1 T Cocoa
1/4 c. plain yogurt

The consistency ended up to be that of soft serve ice cream. The bananas made this very sweet to me, but as you can see the boys couldn’t wait to shovel it in! This was so sweet that we couldn’t finish the small bowls I dished out. So I froze the left overs. We didn’t like this frozen as much, it froze very solid.
